Our story
From humble beginnings in 1998, today TEN has grown to be Australia’s leading supplier of tools & equipment, network line materials and stringing machinery for the energy sector. Tools & Equipment
We’ve developed and curated a market-leading range of specialist tools for the power industry. Our long history of supply, exclusive wholesale distribution, product manufacturing, and assembly services ensure we can provide fit for purpose equipment that meets tough Australian conditions. Our technical knowledge combined with efficient supply chain logistics means we can support customers with what they need to get the job done right the first time.
Overhead, underground and everything in between! Our range of solutions are diverse covering construction and maintenance of electricity networks across generation, transmission and distribution. We supply products across all utility networks and can fit out line trucks with all required tooling in line meeting state based requirements and work methods.
From hydraulic crimpers and insulated sticks to arc flash PPE and safety gear, our tools are built to perform and protect. TEN manufactures a range of durable, field-ready storage — think stick bags, tool buckets, PPE bags and more — all designed to meet the demands of harsh Australian conditions.
Network Line Materials
TEN’s Line Materials team delivers critical solutions that underpin the reliability, safety, and longevity of Australia’s power networks. With a focus on network line materials and asset life extension (ALE) products, we support utilities, infrastructure providers, and contractors across transmission, distribution, and substations with technically robust, field-proven solutions.
Our network line materials range is comprehensive, think everything but the structures and wires. This includes insulators – porcelain, polymer and glass, from LV to EHV including substations. Our hardware covers forged fittings, vibration control dampers, suspension and strain clamps, fabricated fittings, helicals and compression fittings. We can offer complete transmission line material packages covering hardware and insulators.
Our team combines engineering experience with commercial insight, working closely with project managers, network owners, and maintenance crews to solve real-world problems affecting aging infrastructure and new build reliability.
Our Asset life Extension (ALE) range is all about helping customers extend the life of their existing assets and reduce costly outages. We have targeted key challenges of Australian network operators including bushfire mitigation, corrosion on steel strictures, failing connectors, leaking transformers and wood pole remediation.

Stringing and Cable Hauling Machinery
Need productive, reliable and locally supported machinery? We’ve got you covered. As Australia’s leading provider of specialised cable hauling and transmission stringing equipment, TEN is the go-to for stringing equipment hire, purchase, training and service. We work closely with transmission authorities, EPC contractors, and construction partners to support the full lifecycle of stringing operations — from project planning through to construction and maintenance.
Our range includes pullers, tensioners, sagging winches, drum stands, stringing blocks, and all required accessories — sourced through exclusive partnerships with global leaders like Tesmec, and backed by our local expertise and support.

That means expert guidance on equipment selection, operator training, Tesmec-certified repair services, and responsive on-site support when you need it most.
